Angelica
Angelica Panganiban is a Filipino-American actress, model and TV host as well as a comedian. Panganiban has been referred to as the Queen of Drama across different media. Her versatility and her experience in the field of acting is widely recognized. She was forced to adapt her lifestyle around hemodialysis then peritoneal dialysate. After an hospitalization of 80 days, Angelica was almost dead after which she began a journey towards healing. Angelica had been being on dialysis for the past year and a half before finally being able to undergo the most important operation of her life: a transplant of the kidney. Angelica's mother was the only one who could donate a kidney. On September 13 2013 Angelica as well as her mother underwent a successful kidney transplantation surgery at two remarkable hospitals close to each other: the Memory University Hospital as well as Children's Health of Atlanta Egleston.
